Dear Invitees

The early steps are always difficult. This is not my Blog. This would be the Blog of SECOND INNINGS. The first step is to get a membership of 50 to 100 of our friends to become members of this club. It will be a virtual club and hopefully the purpose and activities would evolve. I have requested Sarada to take some interest to set the ball rolling by publishing current news and happenings (of the members). Hopefully we will see this evelove within the next 15 days into something interesting and worthwhile.

What's this blog about?

The idea is to create a virtual club with some close friends as we approach our retirement from active professional life - Hence Second Innings. The name was suggested by Ramnarayan, my cousin and while it has a funny side it aptly describes the purpose.
Over the next month I plan to invite about 50 to 100 friends, hopefully most of them knowing each other. This would probably have some common threads like Cricket (Ofcourse), Mylaporeans, 50 plus citizens ....

If we can incidentally contribute to the betterment of quality of our life that would be a bonus. If we can avoid being frivolous it would be sensible.
